Betty Jean Scheff, age 81, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Betty was born in Berlin, GA. She was a Member of the First Baptist Church of Lilburn and was an avid gardener. She is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Croft. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ervin L. Scheff; daughters, Denice Scheff Walker and husband, Ashley of Duluth, Sandra Scheff of Lawrenceville; Grandchildren, Timothy Lee, Kyle Walker, Tiffany Piatt, Kevin Walker and Trevor Lee; Great grandchildren, Katelynn Dixon and Alivya Piatt; sister, Laverne Lee and husband, Mickey of Moultrie, GA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA. 770-277-4550.
