Bhadase Ken Babulal, beloved husband, father, and community pillar, passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 68 in Atlanta, GA. Born on February 15, 1956, in Trinidad, Bhadase was known for his kind heart, selflessness, and dedication to his family and community.

Bhadase found joy in various hobbies throughout his life, including cricket, card playing, pool, and playing the piano. His passion for these activities reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for life. Professionally, he served as both a bus driver and equipment operator, where his reliability and hard work were greatly appreciated by colleagues and passengers alike.

Described as sincere, honest, and loving, Bhadase had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel cherished and valued. His family held a special place in his heart, and he was deeply devoted to his wife, Jasso Sunita Babulal, his sons Jason and Kevin Babulal, and his daughter Alexis Babulal. His unconditional love and support enriched their lives beyond measure.

Bhadase’s caring nature extended beyond his immediate family; he was always willing to lend a helping hand and put others’ needs before his own. His contributions to the community he called home in Atlanta, GA, were significant, leaving a lasting impact on those he interacted with.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bashun Baboolal, father, Baboolal Dookeran, and brother, Ramesh Baboolal. Bhadase’s memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 5-8PM, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville GA 30046. A funeral service to celebrate Bhadase’s life will take place on Monday, July 1st, from 1-3PM, also at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville GA 30046.

    • Ken was a man who did not hesitate to teach me even things that I thought that I knew. Always kind hearted and ready with a good word of advice and encouragement. He helped me to change my outlook on the world. I’m sure that he has affected others positively. You have my condolences and prayers.

    I’m heartbroken at the loss of uncle Bhadase. Truly gone too soon. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May god give you the strength to get through this difficult time. While we didn’t get to see you all often, we will miss the “whassup” phone call and grieve with you the loss of uncle Bhadase.
