Ruby, I am holding you close in my prayers, now and for the days to come. Thank you for being a bright light in my cousin’s life.
Bradley, I am blessed to have talked and shared emails with you over the years. I don’t know why I didn’t know you were a musician….my jazz loving soul tips my clarinet to you. Art, in it’s various forms, seems to hold us Thomases close; from you aunts, who performed as The Thomas Sisters in various churches back in the day, to your father who praised my alien looking people, while I marveled at the beauty he created, to my mother, whose voice and piano playing filled my youth and still ring in my ears, nearly 25 years after her passing, and so many others, our family continues to share that gift. I hope your spirit meets up with our lovely and talented cousin Marielle, who passed within hours of your transition. You both are missed on this side, but holding fast to our Lord’s Word that we will be reunited again. The genealogist in me would appreciate it if you can get all of those who came before us, whose stories have not been told, to raise their hands so that I can “find them” so that future generations of our Thomas line can know our stories.
Take your rest cousin. My God continue to keep us all until we are reunited again.
It was sad news to hear of Brads passing. My prayers, condolences and thoughts are with Ruby and family. Brad was a faithful follower of Christ and a gifted musician and writer that always encouraged and supported others.
Love Always,
The Chambers Family
We are truly saddened to hear of Bradley’s passing. He will be remembered as a great friend to us. Our prayers and condolences to the family.
