ULIS R. BOB BUCKNER JR. passed away on September 26, 2012 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Mr. Buckner was born on August 6, 1937 in Pruden, Tennessee to Ulis and Mattie Buckner. He was the owner of B&B Tax Service, Inc. in Grayson, Georgia. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Fred Buckner, Clyde Buckner, Henry Buckner, and Tom Buckner; sisters Helen Metzler, Catherine Grubbs and Mildred Price. Survived by wife of 50+ years, Carolyn Buckner; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Larry and Vivian Vancleave; godchild, Stacey Basenese; longtime employee and good friend, Joray Lockridge. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, September 28, 2012 at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hebron Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 279, Dacula, GA 30019.
