Carol Leiker Lyons (76), passed away peacefully surrounded by her kids, daughter and son in law, grandchildren and sister on June 13, 2024.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 18, 1947. She graduated from Georgia State University where she was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She worked many years at the family business, Greens Fuel Company in Lawrenceville, Georgia and retired from Gwinnett County Public School System.

She is survived by her 3 children; son Rhett Lyons of Hoschton, Ga, Daughter Tiffany Casey (Brandy) of Cumming, Ga and Son Stan Lyons (Amanda) of Flowery Branch, Ga, Grandkids, Grant Lyons, Allie Lyons, Brock Casey, Brogen Casey and Easton Lyons, Sister Saundra Jackson (Don), Sherri Bronson (Pete) and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Albert “Leslie” & Hazel Jones Leiker and husband of 43 years Harry Steven Lyons.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.
