Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My Aunt Catherine Maddox was the kindest most caring person. She always visited when people were sick even though she was in worse condition and she never complained. She always said my sister Pam Bailey looked like her sister Ruth and I looked like her, Catherine. She raised a big family and loved her children and grand-children more than anything. I love you Aunt Catherine and thank you so much for the sweet memories.

  2. She was my mother-in-law for over 40 years. Here are some things I know about her. She LOVED her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She knew how to give a little extra care to the ones who needed it, and give freedom to the ones who were ready. She was a strong woman who lived thru hardship without being bitter.
    She never met a stranger.
She was a character, she used to wear this Harley Davison hat, bat her big blue eyes and say, ” I look good”, and she did.
She loved her Lord, loved to go to church.
She loved a good party, so she had a big one every year for her birthday. Everyone was invited, the more the merrier. That made her happy. She won’t be here this year for her birthday, so let’s give her a big going home party today.

  3. Aunt Catherine was a genuinely caring person. She always called us to check on us even when she was ill. I really enjoyed our traditional Bailey sunday drives to visit aunt Catherine. We always enjoyed playing out in yard with our cousins. May the good Lord Bless all of you during this time.

  4. She was the last of the Baileys to be with the Lord. Uncle George just left us a couple if weeks earlier.
