Cathy Lynn Corley passed into another life on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 after a period of declining health. She was born in Union South Carolina on December 15, 1948 to Wallace Corley and Mabel Mitchell Corley, graduated from Union High School in 1967 followed by the University of South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her son Andy McNeil, her siblings Eddie (Liz) Corley, Janice (Corbett) Parker and Joy (Eddie) Harris, her special cousin Mary Del Eubanks and her pet dog, Charlie. Cathy will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was a devoted and beloved mother and relative, but also had a special relationship with almost everyone who knew her. Cathy worked for 30 years at Associated Credit Union where she climbed the corporate ladder and made lifelong friends. After retiring she enjoyed preparing generous meals for anyone visiting her home in Lawrenceville, as well as assisting with her 12Stone Church in various matters. Cathy was an independent and gracious person who enjoyed quality time traveling, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM – 2:00 Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville GA 30046 with a memorial service following at 2:00.
