Cecilia Kathryn “Lily Kate” Powell age 9 of Lawrenceville passed away August 17, 2017. Lily Kate lived life to the absolute fullest. She loved others deeply and made friends easily. She was beautiful, smart, and creative but most importantly she loved God and spread that light to others. She had an amazing and vivid imagination, loved to read constantly, played piano, performed theater, and was so fun loving. She danced through life. She loved school and loved her friends. She was best friends with her little brothers, Danny and Patrick. Her parents adore and love her with all of their beings. She is a beautiful light and is no doubt dancing and singing in Heaven. Lily Kate was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rev. Danny R. Powell. She is survived by her parents, Tim and Jennifer Powell; brothers, Danny R. Powell and Patrick T. Powell; grandparents, Debra and David Knight, Snellville, Rick and Cheryl Paul, Mt. Pleasant, SC; great grandmother, Martha Ann Chafin, Dahlonega; aunts, Katie Powell Grimes and her husband Alan, Denise Paul Patterson and her husband Rob, Candice Paul Sanders and her husband Steve; uncles, R.J. Paul, Matt Paul, Michael Paul; cousins, Duncan, Josiah, Ruthie, Cooper, Sean, Elliot and Logan. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Kingswood United Methodist Church 4896 N. Peachtree Rd. Dunwoody, GA 30338. Rev. Charles Broome will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy. Lawrenceville, GA 30046.   34. We’re saddened by her early departure. We remembered her vividly from all these years when she was with the Flores Family. Her joy, love, vibrance, smiles and laughter always fills the room. She’s loved by everyone. God has a plan for her and she’s in heaven looking over everyone. We share our grief with the Powell’s family. Thank you for being in our life.

  47. My deepest sympathy from Washington State. We lost our sons 18 year old girlfriend to a car accident on Wednesday the 16th of August.
