William "Jack" Chambers, 76 a resident of Stockbridge, Georgia died on March 17, 2010. Born in 1933 in Moultrie Colquitt County, Georgia, Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John Wilburn Chambers and Theo Melton Chambers, his step-mother Bennie Mae Gay Chambers, and his two brothers Billy Chambers and Lavaughn Chambers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Walden Chambers of Stockbridge, Georgia; his daughter Leesa Chambers Rigby Gary of Ocala, Florida and her children Laura, Sarah Beth and Graham; his son Steve Chambers Laurie of Longview, Texas and his children Chelsey, Chase, Emily and Abbee; and his daughter Candi Chambers Kelly Doug from Lakeland, Florida and her children Drew and Truett. Jack is also survived by his brothers Lewis Chambers of Moultrie Georgia, Roy Chambers of Bartow, Georgia and Joe Chambers of Lake Park, Georgia; his sisters Brenda Griner of Moultrie, Georgia, Karen Kinsaul of Hopeful, Georgia and Janna Crump of Jacksonville, Florida; his step-daughter Belinda Deyton Ken and children Kiara, Cassie and Bryce; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia on Saturday, March 27th visitation at 1:00 PM; services at 2:00 PM. Contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home 770-463-3800, the North America Missions Fund through the First Baptist of Stockbridge; 770-474-4484, or to the First Baptist Church of Stockbridge general fund 770-474-4484.
