Charlene G. Crecelius, (90) of Dacula GA, departed this life October 2, 2019 of natural causes.  Charlene was born April 9, 1929 in Tupelo MS.  She attended school in Luxora Ark. where she excelled academically (Beta Club) and played on her high school basketball team.  In her early life she was a telephone operator working a switchboard. She was a devout Christian, loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Charlene was a member of Pennington United Methodist Church, Madison, GA.  She married her husband of 60 years, Bill W. Crecelius, Sr. (D. 2007) in 1947.  She is survived by her three children, Bill W. Crecelius, Jr. (Gail), Debra Waddell (Steve), James Wade Crecelius, grandchildren Curtis Anthony Crecelius (Christine), Devina Patterson (Will), Alan Crecelius, Rachel Flerl (Stephen), Rebecca Sosebee (Ben), and Amanda Peters (Brian), along with 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
