Christopher Lee Christensen, known to his friends and loved ones as “Chris” (or Critter when he was a young child), passed away of natural causes on April 19, 2024, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, at the age of 41.
Chris was born on September 9, 1982, In Boynton Beach FL. Chris’s love for life, family, friends (and shenanigans!) brought laughter and joy to all those around him. His presence was truly one of a kind, always bringing a smile to everyone’s face. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends stretching from Detroit to Atlanta, and down to West Palm Beach.
Chris had a passion for cooking, and he was very good at it too! He always loved gatherings with Family and Friends, so he could have the opportunity prepare and serve great food to his loved ones. This was a skill he picked up while working as a sous chef in St. Clair Shores, MI.
Chris moved from Michigan to Georgia in 2011 and began a new professional adventure as a Construction Manager in the telecom industry. He quickly accelerated in the industry and became one of the best managers and colleagues that anyone could ask for. His hard work, dedication and great personality made him more than just a co-worker. This led to him making numerous very close lifelong friends.
Chris was also a huge lover of music. Music from all ages and all genres. Most of us have been to a live concert with him (This is where most of the shenanigans took place!). He always lit up, never stopped smiling, and never stopped moving while at a show. Those times will be cherished forever and missed dearly.
Chris’s memory will live on through his family, and friends whose hearts were touched by his kindness, laughter, love (and shenanigans of course!). He put up a good fight. May he rest in peace.
A service to honor, remember and celebrate Chris will be held at Wages and Sons, located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy. Lawrenceville, GA 30046 on May 25th, 2024; between 1pm-3pm.

Most of my memories of Chris are from childhood. But all my memories of Chris are good and happy. Yes. Even when he left me at a bar. Gave us a great story to dispute, who left who, for years that followed. Lol. He was nothing less than an amazing little brother. Rest in peace sweet Chris. I Remember You ❤️
Chris Chris will forever be remembered! He would call and we would just listen to music and go down memory lane. The memories are ones that I will cherish for a life time. The best little brother for over 30 years. Such a kind and sweet soul. Hold it down up there till I get there! This one hurts! Loved him the moment I saw that red head of his lol. I hope heaven knows what it gained! Sleep in peace, baby! Love you real big.
Aunt Judy
Chris you’re forever in my heart, I love you.
Chris you will be missed brother. I remember we all were just hanging out in seeing what kind of trouble we all could get into when were kids. I will never forget trying to get Chris to drink his first beer with us believe it or not….lol…. Many years ago . Love you my brother 🤙
A beautiful light has left us. I will look for you in the stars, because I know you are shining up there. I ❤️ you. Rest in heaven.
I met Chris through work, he was a solid cm and a great guy to have on your team. He was a bit younger but we had similar taste in music and bonded over simular interests. Haven’t seen him since GNR at the dome but we stayed in loose touch, I always enjoyed his light hearted company and energetic spirit, always thought we’d see each other again at a show, he will be missed.
So sorry for the loss of a great kid! Where ever he went, he left a great memory behind. May he Rest in Peace in God’s loving arms. 🕯️ ❤️ Uncle Johnny and Aunt Debbie
