Clara Aleene Wisman, age 91, of Lawrenceville GA and formerly of LaQuinta CA, passed away on Saturday November 5, 2022.

Born in Oklahoma to William and Ethel Stein, she was the youngest of six children, all now deceased. Clara was a nursing assistant and caregiver in her early life; and dedicated most of her time being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Clara was preceded in death by John Wisman, her husband of 48 years; stepson Karl Wisman; and grandson Benjamin Raby. She is survived by daughter Jacqueline Allen; son Charles Raby (Pamela); stepdaughter Charlene Wisman; stepsons Jim Wisman (Kerry), John Wisman (Mary), Ed Wisman (Linda), and Eric Wisman (Lien); grandchildren Kristin Raby Kuntz (Brandon), Anna Wisman Ruechel (Jacob), and Margaret Wisman Siembida (David); and great-grandchildren Payton and Bryce Kuntz.

Friends and family visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 9:00-11:00a at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville GA, followed immediately by a graveside service at 11:00a, at Gwinnett Memorial Park, 925 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville GA.

  2. The last of them. So sad to see the end of a Generation of our Family. Aunt Aleene was always so glamorous. She was also kind, and funny. Crazy the things one remembers. Fleeting images of her running to the edge of a cliff in horror because she thought Chuck fell off( he jumped onto a Ledge to scare everyone) . Standing under the neon of the Burger Chef sign trying to make Chuck climb down. Always dressed so beautifully at family functions.She and John coming through the Garage door at Grandma’s. .Laughing with her children on Christmas when I was 15. Rocking her swimsuit on a trip to their family houseboat when she was in her mid 50’s . Still beautiful even in her 90’s.
