Clarice Coggins Presley

Clarice Coggins Presley of McDonough Georgia passed away April 12, 2023, at the age of 89. Born in Thomasville Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hansel G. Arnold and Myrtle E. Daniel Arnold. Clarice lived most of her life in Atlanta Georgia graduating from Murphy High School also attending technical school for 2 years. In 1954 she married Ralph C. Coggins and was married to him for 55 years until his death in 2010. In 2014 she married John R. Presley of Peachtree City until his death in 2021. She retired from the Atlanta Gaslight Company after 27 years of service. Clarice is the last surviving member of her family. She has two children, Cheryl Ann Brooks and husband Richard of Dallas, Georgia and Clayton Coggins Jr and wife Sheron of Cumming, Georgia. Four grandchildren, Kramer Borders (deceased), Candice Borders (deceased), Tiffany Samimi and husband Kavon of Dallas, Georgia, and Heather Westbrook and husband Dustin of Dallas, Georgia, along with four great-grandchildren Eva Samimi, Bryce Samimi, Maez Westbrook, and Oliver Westbrook. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
