Daphne Diane Verner (Barnes) of Atlanta Georgia passed away at 61 years old on Thursday, November 24th, 2016. She was born September 20, 1955 in Atlanta Georgia to the late Mary Frances (Langford) and Foy Lee Barnes. She loved to travel and often spoke of her journeys to Alaska and Europe. She enjoyed creating crafts for her family, such as her heartfelt scrapbooks full of special memories. Spending time with family meant the most to her, whether it was a trip to see her grandchildren and son, or a girls trip to Charleston S.C. with her daughter and sister for shopping and site seeing. Surviving Daphne are her daughter Laura (Andrew) and son Patrick (Devin), her sister Margie (Brett), and three grandchildren Jaden, Ryan, and Jack. Service will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 11:00am at Wages and Sons Chapel 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083. Family and friends are welcome to the home of Laura and Andrew following the memorial.
