  1. My dear, precious family, words cannot begin to describe just how very sorry I am about Dixie’s (“D’s) passing! I still just simply cannot believe it! I feel so very fortunate to have been able to spend Thanksgiving Day with her, & am so happy that she was among so much love & laughter that day! Please know how much I love each of you, & I am here for you if you need anything at all! What a wonderful lady she was! Heaven has gained a beautiful angel this day! I know Mama G & Papaw were so happy to see her again! D, you are loved & you will most assuredly be missed! I am so glad to have known you in this life, & I look forward to the day when we shall meet again! Until then…Always in our hearts…David, Michele & Gabriel DeHart XO

  2. She was a dear friend. Over the years since we graduated 1959 we stayed in touch. We had birthdays close to each other and she always remembered me. She planned girls day out for us over the years. She always sent me a Christmas card with her and the twins. My prayers are with her family. Sincerely, Peggy Stephens Kerr

  3. Paige and Paget,
Your Mother was my dearest friend. During that friendship we laughed, we cried, we danced, we sang, and we often vacationed
together, these are the many wonderful memories I will cherish about Dixie. Savannah hasn’t been the same since we were there at those St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. She will be missed but always remembered in prayer and in my life.

  4. Faye and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of the family.

John R King and his niece Elaine Dotson

  5. Dear Girls, just can’t say how sad it is to loose Dixie in our lives. Fun fun was how best to remember. Heaven got a new resident and we must rejoice in that. God bless Dixie’s family and esp her girls and her grands. Amen. Lew

  6. Paige – So sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. You and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

    In His Name – Armando

  7. Paige,
Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear about your mother’s passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Blessings and love to you and yours,
    Cat

  8. I am so sorry to hear about Dixie. She was one very special lady to myself and to my mom, Stella White. God bless you, Family. Treasure the memories and love she had for you.

  9. When I began working at DeKalb Medical Center, I was told that if I had any questions or needed any help, Dixie Wilson would be the go-to person. She knew everything there was to know about the facility and the people who worked there, and I will be eternally grateful for her help. She was always smiling and always available to led a hand. I am happy to have known her, and I send love to her family that meant so much to her.

  1. Paget & Paige, I know of no words of wisdom which is appropriate as they have eluded me for years. Yet, Dixie was so congenial to me, and always at Christmas she never forgot me. She did really make me laugh at the things she said and I know she loved those twins with every inch of her life. She will be greatly missed by the Family, but realize she knew of a better place for herself and that’s why she made the decision it was her time to be in Heaven with her other family who have gone before. My heart breaks as you have to go through the goodbyes, and if you feel you have left some things unsaid, write her a letter and give it to her. She’ll know and has known how much love existed between you two girls, Will & Bella, and the remainder of the family even though sometimes forgotten or unsaid words were never lost on her. She loved unconditionally and what a great asset to Heaven she will be ! Love ya’ll very much, Janet. Shane and the DNL send their condolences as well.

  2. Paige and Paget, Fred and I just found out about Dixie. We are so sorry to hear about her passing. We have some very good memories of Dixie. We thought the world of Dixie. Very sweet lady
