  1. Meta,
Am so sorry for your loss. I had just spoken to both of you within the past two months and you both sounded so healthy and bright. Don was a great bible school teacher and I really appreciated how both of you reached out to me in times of need. Please let me know if I can be of any service to you during this time and really, anytime in the future. Will keep you both in my prayers.

  2. You have my deepest sympathy on your loss. The God of all comfort and tender mercies hears your cry. ( 2 Corinthians 1: 3,4. )

  3. Meta,
I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. You and Don were both so helpful to me…and I enjoyed Don’t teachings when he taught a life group class. Please let me know if you need anything…and if I can be of any assistance to you during this time.

  4. Meta –
I just got word from Richard Lesikar of Don’s passing. I am so sorry to get the news. Don was one of my favorite leaders at the Santa Fe. It was such a pleasure to serve with him through the years and know him as a man who loved God and family. It is sad that after retirement we did not keep in closer contact being separated by the miles and business of life. Needless to say every year on April 24 I thought of Don as our son, Mike, was also born on April 24. I pray our God’s love and peace will be with you through the coming days and years until we all meet again in His presence.

  5. Thinking of you and family with sympathy. I remember all of our time together when Don & Jeff worked together in Atlanta, and all of our social times together. May you find some comfort in the sorrow that you bear, just knowing there are many people that understand and care, you are in my prayers.

  6. Meta:

Peace and comfort to you and your family. Don was a man I admired so much. He loved God , his family and his Santa Fe family. One could always depend on Don. We will miss him dearly. God bless. Ed and Shirley Hartnett

  7. Meta

May God comfort you. Enjoyed working with Don in Galveston. Did not have many opportunities after that, but knew he was an outstanding person and employee. Great respect for him and your Dad.

    Don Finley

  8. Meta
Our prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of Don and we also take comfort that Don is with the Lord and we will see him again one day. We were newly married and my very first job with Santa Fe was in Atlanta and my first boss was Don Scott. You and Don took us under your wings and made us feel so welcome to the Santa Fe family. Your love for the Lord was so evident and we could not have asked for a better start to my Santa Fe career. God bless you today and always.
