We meet Andy, by his son & wife, Chad & Micker who live in our neighborhood. Andy always had a smile on his face and was a kind person. He loved life and lived it. May his family have peace and comfort that Andy is with his beloved wife Betty. Praying for the Anderson family. God Bless!

Donald Milton Anderson, born June 27, 1935. Known by his friends by “Andy”.
Wife: Betty Ann Nowling Anderson. Married for 57 years December 2, 1956 until Betty passed on Valentines Day Feb 14, 2013. They bought their first house in Choctaw Beach in 1957, rented it to others for 20 years during his military travel, and after his retirement they returned to this same home in 1976 and lived there until 2008 when he and his wife Betty moved to Atlanta to be near their adult children. This December would have been their 65th anniversary. Their family still celebrated their anniversary with Andy after Betty passed.

Andy was born in Connecticut and joined the Air Force in 1952. He was stationed and visited places all over the United Sates and other countries like Africa, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Korea. He retired at the age of 41 to return to Choctaw Beach, Florida with his family in 1976.
Georgia service: Wages and Son in Lawrenceville, GA on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 3 pm viewing and 4 pm service.
Florida service: at 10 am, Wednesday October 13, 2021, the graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, Florida where Andy will be laid to rest next to his wife Betty.
