Doris Crowe Combs

Doris Crowe Combs age 86 of Conyers, passed away on Monday January 17th 2022. Born in, Stone Mountain on Wednesday October 16th 1935. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Essie Pare Crowe, preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Combs, and daughters Rebecca Johnston and Robin Diane Combs.
She was a true Southern Baptist and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a member of the Stone Mountain Eastern Star where she was past Worthy Matron . Doris was well known for her coconut, caramel, and pound cakes.

Surviving are children Deborah (Don) Register, Weyman Combs, and Dale (Donna) Combs all of Conyers. Brother Perry Crowe of McDonough, and Sister Faye (Jimmy) Wright of Snellville. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00PM, Sunday, January 23rd 2022 from the Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel, with Pastor Don Allen Register officiating. Interment will follow at the Melwood Cemetery 5170 E. Ponce de Leon Avenue Stone Mountain Georgia 30083. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chaepel from 2:00 PM til 4:00 PM.
