Douglas Scott Bock

Doug Bock has passed away at the age of 78 on July 20, 2022 at the side of his loving wife. Douglas Katherine (Katie) Anna Bock, his son Scott Bock and wife Julie, granddaughter Alaina, grandson Jordan and grandson Evan; son Brian Bock and wife Brooke, grandson Iain, grandson Chris and grandson Tray; David and h wife Samantha and Great Granddaughter Sarah; his son Damien and wife Denisesha, grandson Alex, granddaughter Allie grandson John.

Doug graduated from Sparrows Point HS in 1962 and went on to enlist in the Air force during the Vietnam War. When he returned state-side he went to the University of Baltimore. He graduated in 1972 and began a career in accounting where he worked at Western Electric. He was able to work his way to a promotion that landed him in the suburbs of Atlanta Georgia.

Doug was a very loving and protective husband that would do anything for his dear bride Katie. He was a proud father of three that grew from a strict disciplinarian to a warm-hearted dad who learned to connect to each one of his children.  He loved to hear stories of his grandkids. He loved to take drive and shop for deals. He loved deals so much that he would often get teased for all the deals he found and took it well. He was always there if his family needed him. He will be remembered as a loving Husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

A celebration of life will be from 10am-12pm on July 30, 2022 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Ga.
