Weldon Sylvester Edwards

Weldon Sylvester "Ed" Edwards, 81, of Buford, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 19, 1931. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Edwards, as well as his children Melanie Cummings and Michael Edwards; also mourning his passing are his grandchildren Christopher Paul Edwards, Jason Kyle Coker, Bryan Michael Coker, and Tyler Wayne Edwards, as well as his two great-grandchildren Solomon Grey Coker and Cora Layne Edwards. Preceding him in death is his son, Ronald David Edwards. Ed spent his entire life as a loving patriarch, giving more of himself than he ever asked of anyone else. He will be dearly missed, and may the angels guide him to the peaceful rest he has worked so hard to earn. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 22nd at Wages and Sons Funeral Home Gwinnett Chapel, as well as a viewing from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, December 21st.
