Ann Carden Hairfield, age 65, formerly of Durham, NC passed away June 11, 2015 after a long bout with cancer, in Duluth, GA. She is survived by her husband, Gary; son, Justin and his wife Chrisy all of Duluth, GA; son, Greg Walker of Rougemont, NC; daughter, Vicki Cupp of Roanoke, VA; son, Jeff Hairfield of Richmond, IN; 6 grandchildren; sister, Ellen Watson of NC; brother, Macky Carden of VA and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Bill Jaggar officiating Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 770-277-4550. I’m deeply sorry for your loss. I hope the words found in the bible at Isaiah 25:8 brings comfort. God promises to “swallow up death forever”. No more will we have to suffer heartache for God says he will “wipe away the tears from all faces”. Such a joyous time it will be; reunited with our dead loved ones!
