Elizabeth “Louise” Wilson, 96, of Atlanta, Ga, passed away on August 17, 2022, after a severe stroke.

Louise was born on Jan 2, 1926 to Henry and Annie Walton in Wastella ,Texas. Her family moved to Sweetwater, Texas, where she grew up. In 1946, she married Dowe Grady Wilson. In 1956, they moved to Atlanta, Ga and raised their two children there. She resided in Atlanta until the death of her husband and then moved to Bishop,Ga to be closer to her children and grandchildren

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Dowe Wilson; her son, David Wilson; her grandson, Andrew Yochem; her parents, Henry and Annie Walton; and 12 siblings. She is survived by daughter Carol (Jack) of Bishop, grandsons John of Atlanta, Ryan of Marietta, Matthew of Bishop, granddaughter Tamara of Henderson, NC, great-granddaughter Ella of Marietta and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Ga. on September 17,2022 at 11:00AM. Family will receive visitors from 10:00-11:00.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear of Aunt Louise’s passing, even though I haven’t seen her in years I still remember her being so kind and sweet, my love and prayers go out to her family. May the Lord send love and comfort to each of you. My dad Syeous Walton was Aunt Louise’s big brother.
