Ellis L. Prince Sr., 89, of Doraville, GA, ended this walk of life on December 18, 2019 at his son’s home in Lilburn. Mr. Prince retired after 25 years of service from General Motors plant in Doraville. He was a born again Christian and at the time of his death was a member of Resurrection Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife Sybil, son David and step-daughter Mary Butler and survived by daughter Judith Walters of Gulf Port, MS, son Rev. Lamar Prince (Hilda) of Lilburn, GA, grandchildren Lisa Prince, Kimberly Davis (Robert), James Pendley (Renee), Scott Pendley (Beverly), Jennifer Bower (Bobby) and 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 12 PM – 2 PM with service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Rev. Lamar Prince and Bro. Robert Davis will be officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA.

  1. CandleImageEllis was a wonderful uncle. I remember when I would go down when Mom was sick. He always came over to see me and brought me a foot long hot dog from Sonic. We always enjoyed their visits to see us in North Carolina for many years. Even though I had not seen him in a while, I will always have wonderful sweet memories. I know he is with Aunt Syble rejoicing ????????. Geneva

  2. I’m sure gonna miss you Papa! I’m gonna miss your little songs and dances but I know you’re singing and dancing up in heaven with Nanny Sybil, Nanny Helen, and Uncle David! Have fun celebrating Christmas with Jesus! I love you so much Papa! Rest in Peace! You deserve it!
