Sweet Erselene, You were such a blessing in my life and the life of my two girls. We loved spending time with you when you lived with Larry and my sister Connie, and we loved visiting you when you were staying in Stockbridge at the assisted living home. You always loved it when we prayed with you. You always made sure to tell me how much prayer meant to you, and what a wonderful sister I had. You just didn’t know what a blessing you were to her, and all of those that met you. You had the light of Jesus shining through you. We loved each time we got to be around you. You talked about your kids and Jesus and how he had been so good to you. I can only imagine now that you are seeing Him face to face, what an amazing blessing. Although you will be missed by so many, you are where we all strive to be one day. I look forward to seeing you again one day. Until then know that you made a mark on my life and the lives of my children. Thanks for investing in us and looking forward to seeing you again one day, until then,,,,,Katherine Duck

Memaw, Thank you for the loving caing person you were to everyone especially me. I love you and miss you already. You will always have a special place in my heart.
I just came across a 1997 Christmas card received from Erselene and Lawrence, and went on-line to find your family. We are old neighbors from Decatur and are truly sorry to hear of Me Maw’s passing. She, Papa and Angie gave our son Spence precious care back in the early 80’s and have been forever in our hearts. So many dear memories of those days..Butter, the red wagon and more. I am sure his love of animals and nature stem from those early experiences and tender love.
Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Lorraine, Ken and Spence
