Evelyn Davis

The late Evelyn (Grant) Davis was my neighbor during childhood through the completion of high school at Lincoln High School, McClellanville, SC. She was raised by her grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Grant. At school, she was an exemplary student, always achieving high honor. She was one of the best, if not the best, female basketball star who ever graduated from Lincoln High School. All of my brothers & sisters and the other young folks on Dupre Road always spoke of her with admiration and pride. She was just a wonderful person, and a wonderful neighbor. I will never forget her. May her family be comforted during this time of bereavement; and may she now be at peace in the arms of Jesus Christ. Nate Jenkins
