  1. CandleImageThinking of you all during this difficult time. She was a wonderful woman – inside and out. A “Granny” to many beyond her very own grands. She will be dearly missed. Glad G finally has someone up there to keep him straight.

  2. My neighbor, my friend, my “Mom”, my “sister”, my advisor for over 40 years. The McKenna/ Shallenberger bond was forged by this wonderful loving person. I will miss you always.

  3. CandleImageI still remember standing in the neighbor’s yard, at about four years old, and watching as the McKenna’s moved into their new house in Stone Mountain. As if her five kids were not enough to occupy her time, Evelyn cared for all the rest of us kids who played in the neighborhood. I know it must have been stressful for her with her kids and others running in and out of her house ten times a day, but she never showed it. Theresa, Dan, Tim, Kathy and Michael, God Bless all of you! Mom’s are so special, and I’m glad you had your Mom with you as long as you did. Rest in Peace, Evelyn.
