Felton Ross Franklin, age 81, of Dacula, GA passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Loraine J. Franklin; son, Jeff R. Franklin (Cathi) of Dacula; grandchildren, Amanda Vasser of Canton, Adam Franklin of Canton, Meghan & Aubrey Kidd of Smyrna, Katy & Jeremiah Debenedetto of Atlanta, Erica Wright of Augusta; great grandson, Mason Vesser; brother, Rastus Franklin (Barbara) of Dacula; sisters, Kathleen Sorrells (Charlie) of Dacula, Virginia Brogdon of Buford, Jane Beaver of Dacula, Yvonne Schubele (Don) of Dacula. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rastus Franklin & Rev. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Dacula, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Felton, to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2570 Harbins Rd., Dacula, GA 30019. The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550. the picture is what I remember of Felton. A little smile as if he was up to something. My kids moved to Dacula in grammar school and wanted to know who the heck this cousin was that aggravated them and cat called when they were walking home.
As we all did they learned to love Felton. I know he will be greatly missed and I wish his family all the best in the world. They surely gave great memories.

Aunt Lorraine im so sorry for your loss uncle Felton was a good man and always made you laugh. I havr a lot of good memories of him. Im sorry I cant be there but ive been really sick with flu and bronchitis and pneumonia but I send my love to you at this time and always will love you and remember to good times we all had at the Justus family reunions. Hes with papa j now having a ball and is healthy and happy he will be missed greatly if u need anything im here for u. All my love and affection to u in this sad time of loss. Julie
