Forrest Elwood Mann, 77, of Lawrenceville Georgia, passed away March 29, 2019, Beloved husband to Linda for 58 years, father to Julie and Marc and wife Karen and grandfather to Daniel, Andrew, Erica and Sam, Great Grandfather to Ava. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 3 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on April 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville, Georgia. Donations to CarePoint ministry at Crosspoint Church in Lieu of Flowers.

Forrest is rejoicing with Jesus, but the hole he left in our hearts and at CarePointe will never be filled. Our hearts & prayers are with you, Linda, and your family.

Though your heart is breaking, may a smile be lifted up in gratefulness that a good soul is now at peace in eternity with the Father. Forrest was a sweet son of God and a beautiful servant to the Lord. Linda, I know you will miss him so very much, as will all of us at CarePoint. My love and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Forrest was a wonderful role model, a godly man and humble servant of God. It was cheering and comforting for us to see him every week at Care Pointe making sure everything was ready and available to give to those in need. Linda, I am so sorry for your and your family’s loss. But I know Christ and our Father were eagerly waiting to welcome him home. And I know he heard them say “Well done, my good and faithful servant! Well done!” I pray that God gives you all comfort, strength and courage to carry on – fighting that good fight. We love you and you will remain in our prayers.
You were the absolute best father in the world. You were a perfect first father and I know our Father in heaven has you by His side. I’ll miss you Dad.

My Grandfather was a hardworking family man, who put the needs of his family first all the time and gave us everything we could of possibly asked for. Even as unexpected and tragic a death as this was, I was glad that I had spoken with him a week prior over the phone and we both got to say “I love you” before hanging up and that I got to spend his last hour with him alive, even if he wasn’t aware due to the falls he took and brain trama I now understand how difficult it feels to lose a close friend or relative and he was a good man. I know I will see him again one day and spend eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven. God bless our family, for we have lost a good Mann, who kept us united and tried to make us happy his whole life and I pray God strengthen us as a whole as we mourn the loss of my one and only Papa Mr. Forrest Elwood Mann. I miss you Papa! R.I.P. I’ll see ya on the other side!

Thanks for visiting me in my dream last night..it was nice to see your precious face. And the unspoken words we so often shared in life here was the same in my dream and I will be seriously considering that thought you sent me.

On May 10 th we will place your remains in their final resting place. But your not there I know.
