Essie Cromer Foxworth, 75, of Buford, Georgia passed away January 12, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Ellen Cromer; brothers, Charles and Marshall Cromer; and grandson Benjamin Foxworth. Mrs. Foxworth is survived by her sons, Mark Foxworth and his wife, Michelle, of Duluth; Lee Foxworth Leanne Foxworth of Buford; Danny Foxworth and his wife, Becky, of Dacula; sister, Peggy Hampton; grandchildren, whom she loved very much, Joshua, Joseph, John and Brooks Foxworth. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with interment following at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM ? 1:00 PM Saturday at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550.

To the family; It deeply saddens me with the passing of my wonderful friend, Essie. No one was a stranger to her. She had a heart of gold and kind to everyone that crossed her path. She will be missed by many.
I have some wonderful memories of Essie when all of us went to the beach together as teenagers. She was a very sweet and loving perosn and I am sure she will be missed by everyone.
I am so sorry to hear about Essie. We were best friends growing up in Anderson, SC. I have many wonderful memories of her. May God give you strength and comfort today
