Frances Alene Wood, 76, of Loganville, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Wood and her parents, George and Minnie Fisher. Frances is survived by her son, Shane Wood & wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Breanna & Ashlyn Wood; and sister, Agnes Moore. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Dr. Jim Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550. So sorry for your loss. Enjoyed being friends with Alene. Had some good times.
We are so sorry for your loss. We loved Alene, she was family to us. We enjoyed all the times we spent with her making wonderful memories. Your mom loved having fun and was a joy to spend time with. Oh how she loved Breanna and Ashlyn. Her face would light up when she spoke about them. We will all miss her. Prayers for the family.
