Dear Yvonne and Pam,
What a privilege it was to work with Shelvy at Harbins Elementary. She cared about the kids so much and it was so evident in her daily interactions with them and through her hard work. It has also been a blessing to witness the love you all have for one another. Please know you are also loved and cared for by many during this difficult time. The Holy Spirit is ever present with you to give you strength and peace.
Much love,
Patty Heitmuller

Pam,
You are in my thoughts and prayers…
I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady and I will miss her.
Aunt Shelvy was many things to us all…a fiercely loving mother to two accomplished daughters…a loving sister….a fiercely independent modern woman with entrepreneurial skills that were a blessing to all who knew her. She was an inspiration, a true survivor. Thanks for all the good times you shared with my husband when he was a little boy on weekend visits to your home. Thanks for the positive role model you were for my daughter. I always said she always seemed more “grown-up” after visits to her Aunt Shelvy’s. Thanks Aunt Shelvy.I love you for all you meant to my family. Rest in peace. You did a great job!
