  1. CandleImageMy Papa was filled with deep wisdom and faith. Jesus said “Whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who builds his house on the rock. The rain came and winds blew and beat against that house, but it did not fall because its foundation was on the rock.” Papa built his house, his family, his life on the rock of Jesus. And although his physical body has fallen, his spiritual body stands firm in the presence of Jesus. Face to face as he spends eternity with him. I love Papa. I miss him already. But I’m filled with hope that he is without pain in the arms of Jesus.

He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

  15. CandleImageThere are no words to express what Galen meant to us and how broken we are with his passing. We have had 50 years of friendship with Galen and Debbie, being there for each other in the happy times and not so happy times. They have been the dearest, closest friends that we have ever had. They are family. When they moved from Maryland to Georgia, we stayed close with visits back and forth and phone calls. We will always cherish the memory of Galen’s robust laugh and loving, funny personality. Even though we live hundreds of miles apart, we will miss him terribly. We extend all our love to Debbie, Misty, Christy, Tieg and the grandchildren. Our greatest consolation is that Galen is waiting for us on Heaven’s shore with that smile and open arms.

  16. With sympathy and prayers for Debbie and all the family. Galen was a special person.

  18. CandleImageI had the privilege of playing for Coach Reeder in the late 80’s. There were so many moments in my life that I shared my personal stories with others that included Coach. He was an absolute father figure in my life as a teenager. We lost contact for over 30 years but a few months ago, I reached out to him just to let him know how special and important he was. I can now look back on that conversation and our text messages and find peace knowing that he was such a spiritual man. Only regret is I didn’t reach out to him sooner. Prayers to the Reeder family!

  19. CandleImageI miss you so very much daddy. Your voice, your advice or ear to listen, your dad jokes, your huge and beautiful laugh, your bear hugs and your love! I know you are with our Heavenly Father, singing praises and filled with joy….its the only thing that brings me comfort. I love you!
