Guestbook

  1. CandleImageSo sorry to lose a great family member
We will miss his wit and humor and cherish the many memories made throughout 50+ years Gerald was a friend to anyone who crossed his path
May you hit them long and straight on that beautiful golf club that now has you as a member

  2. A lifelong friend to our family. He was more a brother than a friend. He will be missed by so many. He was noted for his version of “Rocking Robin”. Now sing for all our loved ones in heaven. Will miss you greatly.

  3. CandleImageGerald was an old friend to me; knew him for more than forty years. Always laughing and friendly, his earthly presence will be missed. Worked with him in a band for several years. He was a great guy.

  4. CandleImageTracy, Kim and Lisa we are very sorry for the loss of your dad.

Love, Jeannie Melton Chastain, Stephanie Melton Quarles, Buddy Melton and Pat Melton Faglier.

  5. We are so sorry for your loss. We are keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers.

    Love, Glenda and Tommy VanDeGriek

  6. CandleImageWords cannot express the sympathy offered on the loss of our dear Gerald! He was loved by my family and my husband, Marvin, who preceded Gerald in death by only (6) months! Gerald and Marvin were best friends and played years together for their love of music. Every time I saw Gerald, he had a big smile on his face and something sweet to say that would turn a frown upside down! He was a very loved man and will be missed tremendously! He may not have been related by blood, but he was always thought of as family and referred to as, “Uncle Gerald,” by my entire family! We love him with all our hearts and I know he and Marvin are playing music together as angels in Heaven! His smile and personality was like no other! The day will come that we shall see him again, someday! May God bless each of his family, for we love each of you, too!

  7. My deepest sympathy to the family. I enjoyed golf with Gerald many times and will have lasting memories of those good times.

  8. CandleImageI just learned of this. Dang it. He didn’t call me at Christmas and it took me until now to find out. Miss you Sir.
