  1. Aunt Penny, Randy and Angela please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. Uncle Billy and I were always connected by the Army and I see him not only as an Uncle, but as a fellow soldier. Uncle Billy is a true patriot and will be sorely missed. He was a great warrior, husband, father and friend. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. God’s Speed Uncle Billy!
    Jerry, Lori and Kaleigh Griswell

  2. Penny, We want to extend our sympathy to you and your family. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

  3. Sometimes a parent’s wisdom goes unnoted, until we are parents ourselves.Sadly at times it takes one’s passing to fully appreciate the guidance & wisdom that has been passed down to us.I will never forget your kind words, guidance, your giving nature, even when it seemed that Angela and I had pushed you past your farthest boundary. Most of all I will never forget your fatherly love, you will always be a huge part of my life & who I am,Thank you!I hope with all my heart, after all the trials & tribulations that we put you & Penny through, that we grew up to be young women that you could be proud of.I am going to miss you with all my heart.Momma your strong and I know that as much as this hurts, you will come out of this just fine,as will Angela & Randy.Angela, you’re my best friend,my sister, you know I’m always here for you and your family, after all your family is my family but as far as houses go..”This is my house, Baby!”

  4. Billy you will be truly missed. I feel honored to have considered you to be my family. I will never forget your smile, your laugh, and most of all your heart and love you showed everyone who came in contact with you. To your family I am sorry for your loss. He is in a better place now and he will live forever in all of us I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

  5. Sorrows are like ripples on the water, they come and they go. But memories remain forever. May you find peace and love in the memories of good times spent together. Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.

  6. I’m so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Husband,Father and Brother.Praying the Lord will wrap his arms around you and bring you some peace.

  7. Daddy,
If there was an award for patience you and Mama would have been the proud recipients. You always had the greatest of expectations for me even when it seemed to be a hopeless cause. I finally understood when I was older, smarter and a parent myself that all the boundaries and lifelong lessons that you tried so hard to instill in Randy and myself were all out of love. We all want to see our children succeed in life. You were my inspiration to learn from my mistakes and press forward. I am so grateful that I was able to make both you and Mama proud by finishing college and becoming a responsible adult. I know that I would not be who I am if it weren’t for your love, understanding and support. I promise to always live by what you have tried so hard to teach both Randy and myself, as well as pass your wisdom onto my children. I will not say good-bye, for good-bye means going away, and going away means forgetting… You will never be forgotten.
    Love Always and Forever,
    Angela

  8. Angela,

  9. It is very hard for me to express my feelings at a time like this but, let me start by saying I will miss you very much. I will always cherish the time we had together and only wish there could have been more. You were a humble man who was always willing to help his fellow man with no thought of personal gain. I can’t count the times you helped me out of various situations and never asked for anything in return but a kind “thank-you”. I selfishly wish that you could still be here with us but, know that there is a special spot in heaven waiting for you. I hope that you know how much you meant to me and all those around you including your family, friends, and country which you so proudly served. Please know that although you are not here in body you will always be here in spirit and hold a special place in my heart and never be forgotten. Now, go with God because you have found the peace which you so gallantly deserve. I love you and I always will.
    Your Son, Randy
