Words cannot express the loss my heart feels. Habib was my student but he was also like a son to me. He was such a caring and compassionate young man. The world has suffered a tremendous loss. Prayers and comfort to his wonderful mom, father, Sideek and his younger brothers. I was blessed to know him.

It’s so tough to be writing this, but I know he would have been there for me. I am truly going to miss my colleague turned friend. We worked together at Northern Kentucky University and he was one of a kind. I have never met someone so consistent in all parts of their life and so dedicated to being a light for others. We were supposed to hang out at some point, but I’m just happy to have even known him. I’m sending all of my love, condolences and prayers for the family and close loved ones. Gone too soon, but left a huge impact.
