Elizabeth Bette Noel Hamilton went home to be with God on September 1, 2010 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Jim Hamilton who passed away in 2009. Before moving to the Parc in Duluth she and Jim lived in Orlando, Fla., for most of their 65-year marriage. She was a retired Orange County 3rd grade teacher who spent most of her 30- year career at Blankner Elementary. She was a member and former president of Alpha Delta Kappa and former president of the auxiliary at Humana Hospital Lucerne. She was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Orlando. Bette is survived by her daughters Pat Nichols, Duluth, Ga., and Judy Olivero, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., sons-in law Tim Nichols and Ray Olivero, grandchildren Greg Nichols, Shelley Jordan and Mark Olivero and great grandchildren Jace and Kinsley Nichols, Joy Bullington and Sophia Olivero. Services will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 400 Holcombe Bridge Rd., Norcross, GA 30071 at 3:00, Saturday, September 4. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice, 3430 Duluth Park Lane, Duluth, GA 30096. Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel 770-277-4550
