Harriet Hobbs Hay, age 80, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015. She was born in Atlanta, GA and resided in Lawrenceville, GA. Harriet was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Bill. Survivors include daughters: Nan Shipe & husband, Jerry; Vicky Leyva & husband, Edward; granddaughter, Shannon Sears; multiple nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Rev. John Hobbs and Rev. Wade Hobbs officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in memory of Bill and Harriet Hay, to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 444 Bethesda Church Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30044. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, July 24, 2015 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550.
