Helen L. McLaughlin of Lawrenceville, GA formerly of Billerica, MA. She was born on November 20, 1938 and died December 7, 2015 at home with her children. She was a devoted and loving mother who will be sorely missed. Her children were James McLaughlin of Nashua, New Hampshire, Ellen McLaughlin, of Lawrenceville, GA; Michael McLaughlin, who predeceased her. Janet Tew, of Stuart, Florida; William McLaughlin of Paso Robles, CA; and Paul McLaughlin of Lawrenceville, GA. She had 10 grandchildren, Krista, Shawn and Corey McLaughlin all of Nashua, New Hampshire, Amy, Jennifer and Mario Riccardi of New York, Hayley-Madison Tew of Stuart, Florida; Tiffany McLaughlin of Paso Robles, CA, and Mason and Olivia McLaughlin of Lawrenceville, GA and one great grandson, Michael Burke of New York. She had two brothers, Walter Conners and Bernard Conners both who predeceased her, and three sisters, Dorothy Kelly of Watertown, MA; Agnes Barry of Auburndale, MA both who predeceased her, and one surviving sister, Mary Elizabeth Hill of Newton, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Bethesda Senior Center, 225 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville, GA between 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Bethesda Senior Center.

  1. Last night I called to speak with my sister, Ann. She wasn’t home but her husband, George, answered and we spoke a bit. He told me that Helen had died. I’m terribly sorry for all of your loss, Jimmy, Ellen, Janet, Billy and PJ. Please accept my sincere condolences. It’s very difficult to lose your mom and even more difficult to say goodbye. I’m sure you all have great memories of your childhood and spending time with her. I wish you all the very best and hope you treasure your own lives. Love to all of you, Aunt Irene

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed meeting Helen at the Bethesda Senior Center she was a very Nice lady and Kind. We had wonderful. times with the Potluck Dinners and all the other fun events.at the Center she will be greatly missed.
