Hilda K. Courtney, age 69, of Lilburn, GA passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund Frank & Gussie Elizabeth Anderson and her husband, Kenneth Delane Courtney, Jr. Hilda is survived by her son, Steven Courtney & wife, Danielle of Ball Ground; son, David Courtney of Lilburn; daughter, Donna Courtney of Lilburn; brothers, Frank Anderson, Jr. of Gainesville, GA, Jim Anderson of Midway, GA, Eddie Anderson of Brandon, FL, Andy Anderson of Tampa, FL; sisters, Doris Roberts of Gainesville, GA, Maria Elmore of Brandon, FL, and Jackie Vibbert; grandson, Jacob Courtney. Hilda was a proud , devoted mother . She exhibited a beautiful spirit and a loving heart, always wanting the very best for her loved ones. Hilda was an animal lover and also an avid antiquer. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Georgia National Cemetery with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main St., Stone Mountain, GA 30083, 770-469-9811.   7. Hilda was one talented Lady. She could repair anything that broke and you wouldn’t know it had been broken. She was also a talented artist. She was very knowledgeable of glassware and sure did love antiques. She will be very missed by everyone.
