Myrtice Plunkett Howell, was born in Lithonia, GA on June 22, 1920. She passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at age 92. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford E. Howell in 1999. She worked at Towers High School in the cafeteria for 30 years. Surviving are her sons, Roger Howell and Ronnie Howell; daughter, Jean H. Mundy; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Ray Plunkett; sister, Sarah Mitchell. Myrtice, lovingly called Ma-Maw, will be remembered for many things. She loved making quilts, gardening, baking and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. More than anything else, a relationship with God can help you to cope with the death of someone you love. Isaiah 33:24 promises the time when an end to sickness will become a reality. God will put an end to pain, suffering and even DEATH. God promises at Isaiah 25:8 that death will be swallowed up forever.
Jean – You mother was the perfect image of a true southern lady. Always had kind words for everyone and a smile on her face.
