Dorothy F. Davis Hubbard passed away October 31, 2012. Dorothy's Christian faith was an important part of who she was. She worked for over 15 years for Cluett Peabody, then 20 years for the Internal Revenue Service until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Robert H. Hubbard; daughters, Janice Hodge & husband, Darren; Sandra Mayfield & husband, Max; grandchildren, Madina Hodge, Kevin Mayfield & wife, Melanie; great-grandchild, Eva Mayfield.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in Dorothy's memory, to There's Hope Ministries, c/o First Redeemer Church, Inc., 2100 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041-7497. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, 770-277-4550. Dorothy was an incredibly caring and kind lady. In fact, I don’t think anyone on earth could be kinder or care more…anyone. She loved Bobby so much as well as her beautiful children and their children…and don’t forget precious Eva. I know that she is now in peace and visiting her family in heaven. Thank you Dorothy and Bobby for all you did for our mother, Marianne, and father, Horace Brinkley. Love, Mary Jo, Laura, and David.
