GARCES, Isabel Cristina, 79 of Lawrenceville GA., died Monday, August 1, 2016. Isabel (a.k.a. Pompi) was born in Santiago, Cuba on August 24, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Jose Setien and Isabel Rodriguez. She was known to be a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Isabel was a strong and direct woman that would never quit or give up. Her well known motto is “If there is a will, there is a way”. Survivors include her Husband Carlos Garces, five children, Carlos Jr. / spouse Yolanda, Maria/ spouse Bill, Manuel/ spouse Lili, Jose and Isabel. Her grandchildren, Willie/ spouse Velvet, Michael/ spouse Tina, Amanda/ spouse Alan, Carlos III, Manuel, Matthew/ spouse Stefanie, KellyAnn/ spouse Blaine, Alexander, Joshua and Emily. Her great grandchildren Brandon, Atom, Tegan, Molly, Alexia, Ramone, Precious, Amelia, Kailyn, Jordan, Mikayla, and Liam. A funeral mass will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, 801 Tom Smith Road SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.
