J. B. ‘Buzz’ Langston, age 89, of Lawrenceville passed away on January 11, 2021 after complications from surgery.

He was born June 19, 1931 in the Luxomni community of Gwinnett County.

He was a loving husband and devoted father who loved his family and was a friend to many.

He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Lawrenceville where he attended regularly. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves.

He retired from General Motors, Doraville after 30 years of service. Buzz was a used car salesman in Lawrenceville for over 50 years, working for Vernon Martin Used Cars, Fleeman and Pratt Used Cars, Bradley’s Used Cars, and U. S. Auto Sales.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Dutton Langston. Sisters, Louise Simonton and Martha Ann Brown. Brothers, J.C. Langston and Carlton Langston.

He is survived by wife Patsy ‘Pat’ Williams Langston, married for 60 years. Son, Kevin Langston and wife Holly. Grandson Jackson Langston, all of Lawrenceville. Sister, Jetty Fowler and Darlene Hunt (Donald) all of Lawrenceville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church: 250 Gwinnett Drive Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 12:00- 1:30PM at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-277-4550. Gravesides Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Gwinnett Memorial Park.
