Jack Alan Sowers, age 59 of Snellville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. He is predeceased by his parents, Brenda and Howard William Sowers, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Sowers; children, Kristen Jensen and husband Sky, Bridgette Rodrigues and husband Albano, and Brandon Sowers; brother, Howard W. Sowers III and wife Glinda; sister, Jeannette Wall and husband Steve; and six grandchildren.

I was so very sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. He’s been a long time friend of mine — who I’ve known since 1st grade. He’s always been a class act. I particularly have enjoyed getting to know him on a deeper level at our most recent class reunions. He’s a authentic and passionate guy, with an awesome sense of humor. Cheryl, I am so saddened by this news. Jack was a great guy who I really enjoyed interacting with on Facebook and seeing him at our reunions. We go way back to elementary school. He was the best debate team partner and I remember a lot of goods times we had together. God Bless you and your family. I will miss him.

I have only known Jack for a short time but had a deep respect for his depth of knowledge and thoroughly enjoyed working with him here. He was a true gentleman. My deepest sympathies and prayers of support go out to you and your family.
