Jacob Cole West, 44, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. He is survived by his parents Kathy and Bob Warman, brother Derek West, his father, Richard West, his uncle and aunt John and Joanne Hurley, aunt Mary Walker, and many cousins. To know Jacob was to love him, his infectious smile preceded him everywhere he went. Jacob was an avid sports fan (GO DAWGS), loved all things music and had a passion for horticulture. His heart was truly bigger than the man. His family and girlfriend, Tiffany Doan, meant the world to him. The family will accept visitors beforehand, at 3:30 pm. Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. A son should never be taken so soon. We are so sorry for this terrible loss. Jacob was a sensitive, loving and caring man. Just allow the memories of Jacob and the love of family to comfort you during this difficult time. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

  2. I didn’t know Jacob long, but we hit off. the first time I met him 4 months ago. The sarcasm, the jokes, the love for UGA! That’s what we had in common. In both of our situations at the time. That’s what I needed and he needed, a new and good friend. It’s been a really long time since I had a real friend like Jacob in my life. He was special to me, family, and friends! My condolences and prayers go out to Ms. Kathy, Coach, Tiffany, and family. Jacob you will be missed. Love ya buddy

  3. Jacob, I knew you as a child but I have known your mama since we were in the 6th grade. She is my blood. She is part of me and she loved you bigger than life. She has prayed you through life and been there for you every day of your life. She loves you more than life. You were blessed having her. But I know you know that. Smile as you were always doing and save us a place inHeaven.

  4. Jacob, your cousins and I are heartbroken that you are no longer with us. We will think of you always and remember your smile, and sense of humor. And that tender heart.
    Aunt Mary

  5. I was fortunate enough to have met Jacob at one of my lowest points in life. With his friendship he helped me through it and i truly could not repay him for that. If you were lucky enough to have been his pal you were indeed lucky. He never had a bad day even though the rest of us would consider some of his days bad- he never looked at it that way. He was smart, loyal and will be missed by any and every person he came into contact with.

  6. Kathy, my heart breaks for you and your family at this difficult time. Praying your memories and the support of family and friends provide some peace and comfort. Love, gayle

  7. It’s always not good hearing about a friend passing. However I will always remember the teams we played on growing up, the double pumps in basketball, digging balls out of the dirt in baseball, and the times in the 8th grade when I drove to basketball practice and took him home. What memories I had with Jacob. Mrs. Warman, Coach Warman and Derrick my heart breaks for all of you. My family will be praying for you. May The Lord Jesus comfort you during this time of heartbreak. God Bless you,
    Shane Boyd and family
