Jacques (Jack) Kasongo Tona (1983-2024) was a dedicated, hardworking man who was a rock for his family and community. Jack was born in 1983 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (then Zaire), then spent the majority of his life in Rwanda before settling in Atlanta, Georgia, USA with his wife Allison (Ally) Snyder. Jack could always be counted on to laugh, help, support his loved ones. If you knew Jack, you could probably say he was your best friend. He was an amazing father and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Ally; children Clyde (6) and Evelyn (3); his mother Theresa; his sisters Christine, Annie, Nathalie, Mimi, Noelle, Jeanine, Patience, Harriet and Liv; his brothers Modeste and Christian; many nephews and nieces; and his mother and father-in-law and siblings-in-law.

Jacques (Jack) Kasongo Tona (1983-2024) était un homme dévoué et travailleur qui était un roc pour sa famille et sa communauté. Jack est né en 1983 en République démocratique du Congo (alors Zaïre), puis a passé la majeure partie de sa vie au Rwanda avant de s’installer à Atlanta, en Géorgie, aux États-Unis, avec son épouse Allison (Ally) Snyder. On pouvait toujours compter sur Jack pour rire, aider et soutenir ses proches. Si vous connaissiez Jack, vous pourriez probablement dire qu’il était votre meilleur ami. Il était un père et un oncle extraordinaire. Il laisse dans le deuil sa femme Ally, ses enfants Clyde (6 ans) et Evelyn (3 ans), sa mère Therese, ses sœurs Christine, Annie, Nathalie, Mimi, Noelle, Jeanine, Patience, Harriet et Liv, ses frères Modeste et Christian, de nombreux neveux et nièces, ainsi que sa mère, son beau-père et ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs.

  1. CandleImageJacques was my best friend since childhood. I had no idea he passed away, someone posted a picture of him saying RIP and that is how I found out. So heartbreaking!! My condolences to Ally and the kids. I’m praying for God to give you guys strength to overcome this tremendous loss. I’m sad I will miss this day because it is last minute and I live far. I will miss him very much!

CandleImageI literally don’t know what exact words to use..,I’m in a deep pain and shock,I didn’t see his part as a father but with no doubt he was the best father and husband.Jack was a brother to ME I grew admiring his character he was an icon to us as his siblings, his heart was pure and his smile would brighten everyone’s day.He was very positive that his energy would be transferred to you even without your consent. Until we meet again Big Brother.
