Janelle Polito, 83, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on January 29, 2022. She was born on June 15, 1938 to Wallace and Margaret Jones in Lockport, NY.

Janelle graduated high school and attended ECT, receiving her Associates Degree in Dietetics. After years in that field, she changed her career path and opened a daycare in South Florida, and subsequently another with her daughter in Georgia.

Janelle was preceded in death by her husband (Charles Polito), her parents (Wallace and Margaret), brother (Ted Jones), and many other dear family members and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Charmaine Perez and Janelle Nelems (David), her grandchildren: Charles Perez (Brittney), Michael Nelems (Kendyll), and Madison Nelems (Eli), and great-grandson Brooks Nelems.

A “Celebration of Life” service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, February 18th at:
