Jeffrey Damon Frost

Jeffrey Damon Frost of Dacula, Georgia passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at age 66.  Jeff was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on May 23, 1957 to his parents, Lois and Damon Jewell Frost, Jr. and moved to Georgia as a baby.  He grew up in Georgia where he was also raised by his mother Jackie Frost and graduated from Clarkston High School.  Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1983. He trained as an underwater welder and went on to attend technical school, after which he entered the IT field. He recently retired from Oracle Corp. as a Senior Field Service Engineer after 24 years.

Jeff had many interests.  He loved playing golf and played as often as he could.  He enjoyed nature, and loved hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains with his family. Jeff enjoyed cooking elaborate and tasty meals on weekends to try new cuisines, and was an avid collector of hot sauces, the hotter the better.  He grew numerous varieties of peppers in his annual vegetable garden and was a voracious reader, always having a book or three going, especially loving spy or mystery novels.  He loved all things Disney, loved music, especially Jazz, and had developed an interest in Japan.  He enjoyed sports, with his favorite soccer team being Middlesbrough FC and loved watching the Atlanta Braves. He was a member of a local church for many years.

He is survived by his daughter and daughter-in-law, Sydney and Yustin Nambo-Frost of Atlanta, his daughter Abigail Frost of Lawrenceville, his mother, Jackie Frost of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law Jamie & Vic Williams of Douglasville, brother and sister-in-law David and Leah Frost of Duluth and brother and sister-in-law Roger and Stacy Frost of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Lois, and father Damon Frost, Jr.

A memorial gathering to remember Jeff will be held on Monday, October 30, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Private family visitation will take place from 4 to 5 pm. Visitation will begin at 5 pm with a service to follow at 6 pm.
