Jimmy Braxton Fincher, Jr., age 55 of Jefferson, Georgia, formerly from Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. Preceding in death , his son Kyle Braxton Fincher. He is survived by his wife, Karen L. Fincher, his children, Stephanie Lyn Fincher, and Jacob Ryan Fincher; daughter-in-law, Shelisia Marie Kennedy; grandchildren, Elijah Braxton Fincher and Eva Marie Fincher; brother, Robert Fincher of Loganville, Derek Fincher of Lilburn; father, Jimmy Fincher, Sr. of Lilburn and mother, Beverly Craig of Loganville; grandmother, Florence Fincher of Duncan, South Carolina. Jimmy was employed by Fidelity Bank. He began his career there in 1983. He served in various management positions throughout the bank from retail, corporate delivery services, mortgage and operations. He enjoyed coaching his children in their youth sports careers. He was passionate about UGA football and loved tailgating with family and friends on fall Saturdays. The family will receive friends at a visitation Sunday, June 22, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 11:00 am Monday, June 23, 2018 Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jimmy's name to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). Online condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com.
