Jimmy Britt age 65 of Martin, GA passed away December 25, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, GA and grew up in Gwinnett County. Jimmy was a Master Carpenter, General Contractor, Real Estate Broker and was a Deacon at Corinth Baptist Church. Mr. Britt is survived by his wife of 46 years Jan Britt; son, Jared Britt and his wife Brooke of Watkinsville, GA; daughter Julie Britt of Loganville, GA; sister, Gloria Butler and her husband Steve of Loganville, GA; brother, Barry Britt and his wife Janice of Snellville, GA; 7 grandchildren and several nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. Rev. Don Richards, Rev. Wayne Marcus and Rev. Steven Smallwood will officiate. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Stone Mountain. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jimmy’s memory to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 1040 Main St. Stone Mountain, GA 30086. 770-469-9811.
